Avant-Garde recently welcomed John Cocking as a Regional Sales Director over the Southwestern and Western United States. John comes to Avant-Garde with over 14 years of experience in the turnstile industry.

As a former soccer player and graduate of UNC, Cocking joined the turnstile industry by accident. His friend introduced him to the world of secured entry, and he began working for Smarter Security, where he remained for 14 years.

In his downtime, Cocking prefers to spend time with his family. “My family comes first, second, and third,” he says. He also enjoys outdoor hobbies such as fishing and golf.
